Windows Movie Maker

It appears my Movie Maker is corrupt. It opens ok and then within a few
seconds a window pops up that says I've encountered and error.... and offers
the option to sensd a report.

How can I fix? Is therea way to reinstall?

You should find expert help on your MM problem in the
microsoft.public.windowsxp.moviemaker newsgroup. And indicate whether you
are using XP or Vista.

I have the same issue with movie maker. Can you please help me fix this
program on my computer.

Geez mate, what update did this?

What Operating system are you running?
Did you want to provide further information or just confirm that you had the
same problem as the original OP?

Wouldn't it be better actually posting to a more relevant NG?

See if this helps - no guarantees -

Click Start , click Run , and then type the following command:
%systemroot%\inf

NOTE : There are no spaces at all in the preceding command line.

Click OK to open the INF folder.
Locate the file moviemk.inf
Right-click the file, and then click Install . This will reinstall the files
that Search needs to proceed normally.

You may need you original OS CD/DVD.
