I upgraded my laptop Inspiron 8000 to Win Xp and now I can not capture my
video which is an Canon Mini DV player. If anyone can assist me I would
appreciate it. I was using Video Wave version 3 and now it does not work to
capture the video and neithe rdoes Adobe Premiere. Thansk for any help.

You need to get XP compatible drivers from the appropriate manufacturers.

Thank, Jerry.
I tried getting the compatible drivers, but was still not able to capture
the video from the Canon camera. I am was wondering if I needed to buy a
newer version of the Video Wave software or should be using a different cable
connector to capture the video. I saw in one of the erroe reports that a
video could not be captured if you are using a digital video camera. Is that
so? Thanks.
