Windows must shutdown loop after Vista Home Premium update to SP2

System was working fine, upgraded to SP2, now stuck in "Windows must
shutdown" loop.

The system is a Lenovo, factory settings all left the same, just used for
basic Internet and email, nothing installed, not even Office.

Any suggestions for this would be appreciated.
