Hi Cheri,
Download tweak UAC
http://www.tweak-uac.com/download/
Put the program on C: and rightclick the program: "run as administrator"
The manual:
http://www.tweak-uac.com/what-is-tweak-uac/
The best and safest option is "Switch UAC to quiet mode."
But now you get annoying pop-ups from the Vista securitycentre.
You have to ajust the way securitycentre warns you.
Go to Controlpanel > Classicview > securitycentre > left pane > "Change the
way securitycentre alerts me" > take option two or three (best).
Now you got rid of annoying pop-ups and nag screens, but when it's *really*
necessary when security is at risk, Vista *will* warn you, because of the
UAC quiet mode.
