Windows Not booting After recent update.

After the latest update patch for Vista, my Computer hangs during the boot. I
have already rolled back to the 07/07 update and was able to get the computer
booted up, then ran the update again. Is this a known issue with the newest
update patch?

I'm running AVAST! as my virus software with no firewall other than Vistas.

Try going to safe mode option ( tap F5 or F8 ), you can isolate what is
causing It - since you said "after update" lets use deduction remove the
last update on the list just to check if it’s the one causing it.

Ok. I'll try that when I get home. I've rolled back the updates to 07/07 and
it was able to boot but when it did the 9 "Important" updates since that date
88 Megs in Size it works fine until I reboot it. Then it just hangs and no
matter I've been doing it won't un hang. I don't really turn my PC off that
much, so it could have been the 7/7 updates. Thanks. I'll update when I get
home and try it.
