Dude, you have brought considerable disrespect upon yourself, by posting the
same questions multiple times. This is very bad manners, and people don't
like it.
But, here are the step-by-step instructions:
- run PowerPoint 2007
- click on the Help icon (the question mark, in the top right-hand corner)
- the online Help for Office PowerPoint 2007 will appear
- in the search field, type "how to add a sound file?"
- results 1 to 25 of 100 possible answers will be displayed
- the first hit is the Help Training topic "Add sound effects to a
presentation"
- the top hits will include the topic "Add and play sounds in a
presentation".
- Click this link. Follow the instructions it provides for you.
- the help text is written in very simple, easy-to-follow language. But if
reading the help text is too hard, or you'd like to see a demonstration,
click on the link entitled "Demo: Add animation and sound to text and
objects in a presentation"
- this will take you to an online demonstration, of someone adding a sound
to a presentation.
- if you'd like a Training presentation, to show others how to add sounds to
a presentation, click on the link entitled "Training presentation:
PowerPoint 2007-Add sound effects to a presentation".
You're almost done, but there's a couple more things ...
- point your newsreader to the newsgroup microsoft.public.powerpoint
- read a few of the articles there, and notice that
microsoft.public.powerpoint is a newsgroup where people ask questions about
Powerpoint.
- contrast that to microsoft.public.windows.vista.general, where most of the
questions are about Vista, not Powerpoint.
- read this Microsoft KnowledgeBase article:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555375
- read this page
http://www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00036.htm
Hope it helps,
