windows office update problem:

im trying to get updates for office 2000, page displays installing active x
control, gets to about 30%, and stops. error:windows found problem with file,
name

puc.cab, publisher:unknown, opens up new page and says did u see the
popup blocker displaying download active x,
so i put office and microsoft, into trusted sites and unchecked requires
server verification,enabled download unsigned active x controls, and disabled
popup blocker...still cant download, help please..?
