Hi all, I have three internal hard drives in my computer all are serial ATA
hard drives. I am running Vista Home Premium. I wanted to move the paging
file off the operating system drive and onto the other two drives. But as
soon as I would make a change to the c: drive's page (i.e.: remove/change the
paging file) file and apply the changes by clicking OK; my computer would
suddenly blue screen (no text, just a blue screen) and then it would reboot.
I am, however, able to add a paging file to both my other drives, d: and e:
respectively, but cannot modify the pagefile on the c: drive without the
error. Is there a fix for this? I have searched the microsoft knowlegebase
for answers and so far have found nothing. I have also searched the microsoft
website for a place where I can report a bug in Vista and also have found
nothing... Please help me with this. Also if there is any other technical
information you need from me (and my system), please do ask... and be as
technical as you like, I have been working with computers my whole life and
am not new to this at all.
I have also tried doing the same thing on a system running Vista Business
Edition and it crashes on me there as well... Frustrating...
Thanks.
