Windows patche requirements

I am looking for a list that contains all of the OS, Office and general MS
patches along with the requirements or dependencies in regards to other MS
patches....i.e.
does patch KB?????? require other MS patches, like XP SP2?

Each patch KB tells you what it requires.
I do not know of a list (in full) like the one you describe.

I know. I have been all over looking for a condensed version. Shifting
through the entire MS updates catalog is not efficient in the slightest. I'll
keep looking. I think that WSUS might have an answer if I install and run it
against a few local systems.

You are probably looking in the wrong newsgroup.

Part of what you are looking for used to be available in mssecure.xml
which was downloaded for MBSA (still is downloaded I think for MBSA 1.2.1
but I don't know how update to date it still is.)

Something which seems much less useful is available via MBSA 2.0's
mbsacli /xmlout and probably only really useful if you have strong
scripting skills. (Note: the 2.0 version of mbsacli is completely different
from the 1.2.1 version.)

Similarly, I suspect an Enterprise Update Scan Tool's .xml file
if interpreted correctly could be used to add its information to a common
database.

I would expect a complete discussion of this topic to include reference
to Shavlik's current offering (assuming there is something which replaces
their old hfnetchk) and whatever the Belarc Advisor does in terms of
either providing its own database or what resources its scans use to obtain
the equivalent information.
