Windows Photo Gallery - not responding

Hi
I have a problem with my *windows photo gallery*, it was working fin
few days ago, but now if I open the gallery and try to do smth it jus
stops working, saying *"Not responding"* and I can´t to anything there
it just lets me close it down

If you have any ideas what to do, please help me, I need the galler
for my work everyday :frown

(im not a professional computer person, so please write in simple word

Have a look at the following article:

If you are still running Windows Photo Gallery
and have not installed Windows Live Photo
Gallery...the path would be:

C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\
Windows Photo Gallery\Pictures.pd4

Be aware...this will revert the Photo Gallery to
the way it was the first time you opened it...your
images will need to be re-cataloged.

I´d like to add that I reinstalled the photo gallery to my computer an
it still does the same. It just freezes
Any thoughts? :cool

I have the same problem with Photo Gallery and tried renaming...did no
work. I have also read that it could be some sort of weird web addres
in the file, but have been unable to figure out if this is the case.
have pulled my hair out trying to figure it out. I do not have Liv
Photo Gallery, just Photo Gallery

Try this:
1.Close Windows Photo Galery
2.navigate to *C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windo ws
Photo Gallery *find file *Pictures.pd4 *rename it to *OLD_Pictures.pd4*
and restart Windows Photo Galery

This did not work for me. Windows photo gallery started but stopped half way
through a scan.
