Windows Photo Gallery problem

When I try to e-mail from Windows Photo Gallery the operation fails.
click e-mail on the top tool bar then click "attach" in the attach file
window that opens and then the attach files windows closes and nothin
more happens.

Any suggestions would be appreciated
