When I choose the option to play a slideshow of the pictures in any folder I
get an error that says "An Error Is Preventing This Slideshow From Playing".
The first image will appear for a split second then dissapear and then the
error message pops up.

Rightclick the Command Prompt icon on start, and click 'run as
administrator'
Run the command:
regsvr32 vbscript
Restart windows to test the slideshow
--
click the Ratings button. Voting helps the web interface.

Now Frank, we talked about these outbursts in your last appointment.
Remember count to 100 before you type anything. Are you taking your
meds? May they need to be increased.

Found a link between the screen saver working and not working. If you have a
lapTop and it's battery is around 50% or less the screen saver quits working.
If you plug it in it works.. WTF I did run this comand and it did help or so
I thinht. Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories and right-click
on the Command Prompt and choose "Run as administrator".
Type in: SFC /SCANNOW and press your Enter key. So in short the power needs
to be pluged in to make it go.

Hi,

I tried above solutions, but I got the same problem. the system scan
indicates everything is fine. The battery is fully charged. The only
thing I can imagine that I changed once, was the brightness of the
screen while working on battery power, but meanwhile everything should
be back to normal. Still, the slideshow does not want to show.

Any other ideas?
