Last week I went to Windows Update and installed about 6 new updates. Couple
days later when I go on my PC (1st time since the update) the "You have 30
days left to register windows" pops up from the taskbar. If I click on the 2
keys the box appears saying that "Windows is already activated" I have been
running XP for about a year with this legit product key and now suddenly this
happens. At the moment I have 27 days left.
I have tried renaming the OOBETimer and then running msoobe.exe to see if I
could re-enter my product key, but it just comes up saying "windows is
already activated"

Any one have any ideas, as soon I think I'm going to have to rebuild it,
which I don't wanna do
