windows script 5.6

I am having problems with getting my update to work with sp2. I am running
into the same problems others are and i have tried a bunch of the things
others have suggested to get automatic updates working. One thing is to
download windows script 5.6 but when i try to i cannot get to it. I get to
the part about validating my windows and it says i do not have a valid
windows. i know its valid, i registered this and it works. i installed sp2
about two months ago and had a problem with another program. ran recovery and
reinstalled sp2, now can't get it to work.

Choose the option to skip the optional validation.
