Windows Search 4.0 and rebuilding index?

Hi all, I recently accept notification about Windows Search 4.0 and before I
install it, I read the describtion. How grateful I was to read before
installing. It stated that I will have to rebuild my index after installing
the update. I don't even realize there is this index-index thingie (I'm an
amateur user, heh) going on behind the searching process! How should I
rebuild it after installing this update? Or maybe I should just install and
do nothing watch the system indexing itself automatically? When I bought my
laptop and my first OS(already istalled) I don't even do any index-ing! This
really make me wary, the way they put "You have to rebuild your index"
thingie. Any advice will be helpful. Please answer me!
