Windows Server 2000 Updates failes

I can't seem to find help to dowload and install updates on the server. Help
and support doesn't give me anything but a blank page. I now have 9 critical
updates that won't install. Help!

Are you trying to update patches using
windowsupdate.microsoft.com
directly on the Win 2000 Servers?

Or are you putting them under SUS for patch management? If this is the case,
and they are still on Win 2000 SP2, you need to download and install
"Automatic Updates" client, available at:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000...nt/default.asp

Otherwise, you can always manually download the patches and install them
using the qchain tool.

Download may have not completed or the executable is corrupted (WUAU22.msi).
Retry again. Make sure that you select the correct language version for your
platform.

Note that the MSI package can be run directly by double-clicking on it or
via the command line such as "msiexec /i WUAU22.msi" with an account holding
local administrative rights. Deployment via Group Policy is another
alternative that works.
