Windows Server 2008 cluster creation and computer accounts

Is there any way around the new requirement in WS2K8 failover clusters
regarding creating computer accounts in AD during the cluster creation?
My account doesn't have the ability to create computer objects in the
Computers container, but only in select OUs to which I've been delegated
that permission. (I have to believe this is a *very* common
configuration for large companies.) If I pre-create the computer object
in AD in a different OU, I get a different error, saying there's a
conflict with an existing computer account.

I just found this article and will give these steps on pre-creation a shot.
