Windows sizes and position

Greetins to all,
Can someone tell me how to make Vista remember the windows size and
position? Don't ask me to check the box, wherever it is, I've done it
already to no avail.

Suggested by Shawn:
You will need to reset the folder view settings. Look at method two in
this tutorial for how to do it. The download will be the easiest way.
This will allow Vista to remember your settings as you last left them.

Another way to do this and also to increase the number of windows remembered
is to use Xenomorph Dot Net XdN Tweaker.

This repair works only very temporarily. Microsoft needs to address this in
a patch as immediately as possible. It is an incredibly frustrating bug in
Vista. Something that should have never been released to the public like it
is. Yes, the fix works.... but only for a very short while.
