The vast majority of problems with SP2 are caused by people attempting to
install it to already-infested PC's.
SP2 is pretty much essential if you hope to spend any time on the internet,
and remain with your PC under your control, rather than someone else's - and
it contains some rather neat updates.
In the SP2 request page, depending on where you're logging in from, you may
have to wait 10-15 seconds for the page to refresh after hitting the country
entry - before attempting to put anything in the state/city/zip entries (the
available entries will change depending on your country)
..If you're in the US, try popping into your local Staples - they should have
a few copies still lying around - also free.
In the UK, some of the computer magazines included it - for free
whatever, you should NOT have to pay for the CD, whatever the source. If
someone asks you to pay for it - walk away.
