\windows\system32\glut32.lib inaccessible

I cannot see this file from windows explorer even though Folder Options says
show hidden files. I can see it from the command shell but tells me it is
inaccessible.

My compiler tells me this:
Error 1 fatal error LNK1127: library is corrupt C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Visual Studio 9.0\VC\lib\glut32.lib 1 lorenz

That is not the same file, and that is accessible so I would like to replace
it with the system32 copy.
How?
