Windows uodate - XP Professional

I have IE 7.0. For some reasons "Windows Update" after going through software
update for my configuration does not return anything. I tried "Express" as
well as "Custom" update. I have done scan of "Defender" to identify whether
any software exist that is not recognised. This problem ocuured only recently
( a week ago ) till then I was able to download and update through "Windows
Update".

I have checked for error message in Windows\windowsupdate. None were there.

What could be issue?

What were you expecting it to return? If you are up to date with patches
and updates, then "Windows Update" will not find anything to do.
