Windows Update Always Try To Install MS05-031 (Step-byStep Interactive Training Vulnerability)

Hi,

I have configured my laptop to automatically install security updates
using Windows Update. However, recently whenever I shut down my
computer, the shutdown dialog always shows "Install updates and
shutdown". The "updates" it refers to is always the patch to resolve
the issue with Step-by-step Interactive Training vulnerability, as
described in:

The frustrating thing is no matter how many times I've install the
update, either manually by downloading the patch from the above
website, or leaving it Windows Update, it just doesn't seem to take any
effect - the next time when I attempt to shut down the laptop, I will
be prompted to install the update again! Attempting to install the
update manually did not show any errors.

Has anyone faced this problem before, or does any of you have any
insight on what's going on?
