windows update and clean access agent

My university uses cisco clean access agent to ensure that peoples computers
can access the internet and that the computer is up to date with anti-virus
and security updates. When I try to access the internet clean access says
that I have to turn windows update on, but it already is. Im using a new
vista 64 bit os and my computing people at school are no help. anyone have
any ideas?

What can we do about it? If we take your word for it, Automatic Updates is
enabled so the problem's not on your end.

I was just hoping somebody had an idea on what could be wrong because my IT
dept. and other people i know have no idea. Also, I can't find any useful
support through cisco so I'm getting aggravated.
