Windows update and GPO

Hello,

In my society, we disabled the "Windows Update" service with a GPO in Active
Directory.
All PC are Windows XP and W2K workstations.

If we look at "My computer" properties, we see that "Disable Automatic
Updates" is checked.

But, we see that the Windows Update is still active because we see the icon
on the taskbar and the logs in our firewall proves it.

Does anyone have a clue about that ?
