Windows Update & IE 7 Beta 1

How do I download windows / microsoft updates in IE7 Beta 1? It gets to the
page but the green scanning bar keeps going and going and going...

You don't. IE7 is not a released product, and not recognized by the site.
If you need updates, you'll need to use a released browser.

At present you can only access it through MSDN Subscription.

What do you mean? Access to Windows Update or IE 7?

That's somewhat incorrect. you can actually search Microsoft's site for the
downloads manually without having to use the update site. I have the same
problem aswell (the left frame screws up and it just searches forever).

I just download my updates manually by date

Thanks for letting me know! I figured there was a solution...

BTW, do you know of a way to get IE 7 to work normally in Yahoo! Mail? A
registry change perhaps?

I think Yahoo! thinks IE7 an older version of IE.

Yes..That's true...so...what's your point?

My question is about accessing Windows Update in IE 7 Beta 1...NOT about
getting IE 7 since I have it.

Anyways..someone else gave me a solution.
