Windows Update & Norton Internet Security

Unless I'm doing something really wrong or really stupid, the instructions in
the Windows Update Troubleshoot are incorrect for updating Trusted Zone
settings.

Specifically, the instructions state to add windowsupdate.microsoft.com and
download.windowsupdate.com. This did not work.

Once I reviewed my logs, I found errors for v5.windowsupdate.microsoft.com.
I added this as a Trusted Site, Windows Update worked.

Did you add this site in IE or NIS or both?
Also what log did you see the errors in? What error was it?
I've added these site into my NIS 2004 with no luck. My WU
hangs during the download / install process until I have
to "end task" to get rid of it.
