Windows Update & Panda Titanium (error 80200010)

I had a nasty problem: Windows Update didn't work and Automatic Update didn't
function either. All updates failed to download with errorcode 80200010. That
didn't help. Found some advice, but nothing worked. Today I installed
Microsoft Update, but I got the same error.

Somewhere on this forum I read my Panda Titanium anti-virus program blocked
the updates. Uninstalling Panda wasn't necessary, Panda now has a hotfix for
this problem:

I also encountered comments about identical problems with Norton and McAfee,
so I probably can't blame Panda. Don't really need to blame anyone, but found
this a very frustrating problem...

Downloading and installing the hotfix solved the problem I had with
Windows/Microsoft Update for over the past week. I don't think I would have
found this solution without your useful message!

Very helpful link, thank you Hanzin. It solved a problem which has been
bugging me for over a week!
