Windows update and Zone Alarm settings

I should be able to set Zone Alarm Pro privacy setting so windows update
will run without a hitch. However, despite adding
windowsupdate.microsoft.com; windows.com; updatewindows.com and
microsoft.com to my privacy setting and allowing all mobile code, cookies,
web bugs and private headers in each.

Despite the above, each time I run windows update it returns error number:
0x80072F76 unless I change Zone Alarm general privacy settings to allow all
mobile code.

Is there another site I need to add to my privacy list?

Neither windows.com nor updatewindows.com are MS sites.

Try these:

http://www.download.windowsupdate.com
http://v5.windowsupdate.microsoft.com
https://v5.windowsupdate.microsoft.com
http://v6.windowsupdate.microsoft.com
https://v6.windowsupdate.microsoft.com
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com
http://download.windowsupdate.com

How to configure and use Automatic Updates in Windows XP:
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=306525

Pasted all entries that would add to the ZA sitelist and allowed full
permissions to each. Still no luck.

v6 entries would not load in the ZA sitelist. Or, more accurately, when
pasted into the ZA sitelist showed as windowsupdate.microsoft.com.

Your luck is rubbing off. Mine worked OK this morning, as well.

I won't vouch for this but, suspect it has to do with setting general
privacy settings at a custom level. All mine are now on high and it works
OK. Unfortunately, setting mobile code to high leaves Javascript enabled.
Irrespective, I'm leaving well enough alone! I'll trust my hosts file, which
takes care of 72902 baddies.
