Windows Update broke my XML Data Island

My application that uses XML data islands is no longer working as of Aug 16
2007 when window update KB936021 installed.

This update is for a Vulnerability in Microsoft XML Core Services.

Basically the XML data island is not populating with any data from an XML
file that is coming from the same server that served the aspx page that
contains the <XML> tag.

If I remove this windows update the XML Data island works again.

Is there a IE setting that needs to be changed to allow XML Data islands to
work again?

I have no idea how to debug this, any help or suggestions would be
appreciated.

If this is not the correct forum for this post can you please let me know
which one is.
