Windows Update can not install updates

Hello

By some reason, Windows Update can not install the new updates for WinXP,
and this includes security updates.

I get so fas as to see the list of the updates, but when I click install, I
just get a popup window stating that "the following updates could not be
installed..." and a list follows with all the updates. Automatic updates
don't work either.

I don't get any error message like the number some others have been posting,
only sometimes a refernce to not accepting a license agreement... but I never
get a chanse to accept any!!!

Win Update worked well before I let the computer manufactor make a
reistallation of WinXP Home edition (swedish) SP2 when I upgraded the
computer, in order to try to get rid of some stability problems. I DO have my
OEM WinXP-CD...

Could anybody help...
