Windows Update Caused Loss of Palm Data

Windows automatically updated on May 9. My computer rebooted. Upon startup,
all my Palm calendar data had been wiped out except for a few items that were
not attached to specific times. The Palm Forum indicates another Palm user
had experienced the same problem. Any ideas what happened?
