Windows update changes Video display in WMP10 to Black and White

After installing the recent windows update on 18th Feb'06, all the high res
files are displayed as black and white in WMP10.

To confirm the issue, i had restored it to an earlier date and
everything worked well. Again after the windows update, the problem
re-appeared and all the hig res files are displayed as B & W.

I am facing the problem with High resolution files. There is no problem with
low
resolution files.

Online streaming also reports error code - C00D11D4

Old win media player (mplayer2) and other players like DivX and MPC are
working fine. The problem is with WinMP10 only after the windows update on
18th Feb 06.

OS - Win XP Home - SP2
WMP10 Ver 10.00.00.3990

Any solution ?
