windows update crashes (XP SP2) my computer

Hi, this morning I was prompted to install my windows updates which I
have always done wioth no problem at all.

I have nailed it down to this

windowsxp-kb905474-enu-x86_4bafa8793e8cdcaf4ba4ffc494df32d496154544

If I download the exe then straight away my computer crashes and
restarts. Upon restarting I get a message saying "your computer has
recovered from a serious error"

Any ideas welcome!
