Those folders are usually generated when an MSMXL update is attempting
to install. Since they keep appearing then the update is NOT installed.
Either post the last 50 or so lines of the WindowsUpdate.log, located in
the WINDOWS directory [folder] or contact PSS as this is a Security
update with no charge support :
