Windows Update does not find any udpates for .net framework 1.1

I have just installed .net framework 1.1 and windows update has not installed
any updates for it (.net sp1) or any hotfixes like in windows xp.

I've tried restarting and manually checking for updates several times.

is there something wrong with my windows update?

Give it time, it will happen (eventually). I installed it on a machine at work and it took
24 hours for the update to come through after that.
If in a hurry try:
Click Start, select Run and then type in: wuauclt.exe /detectnow

I has been a couple days and still nothing. I have waited, and tried to force
a detection.

Just to make it clear.. I am using Vista home basic. I installed .net 1.1
framework and microsoft updates has not downloaded any updates for it. No
..net 1.1 sp1 or hotfixes of any kind like in windows xp.

any ideas?
