Windows update download freezes

Well I did have some malware on my system but after many days of searching
and running some software I have finally got it removed... however there are
some remaining problems. When i load windows update I am able to get a list
of all my updates but when i attempt to download them update freezes when it
shows "starting download" and even after a few hours remains frozen. Any
ideas of what i can do to fix this? is there a way to reinstall windows
update on my computer?

Im getting the same problem with my computer. How did you get it fixed? My
computer freezes just after 2-3 minuts after restarting, and keeps during
soo, after I made an update.

Please, any ideas?
