Windows Update endless..

running win2k w/ sp4 and IE6
when I choose either express or custom from windows update page, the msg
"Checking for the latest updates for your computer" runs endlessly w/o
finding anything. Help appreciated!!

I wish someone would answer this, I have the same issue.
