Windows update error(0x80072F89), plz help

I recently bought a larger hard drive for my operating system drive (I was
running 98SE on a 4 gig drive). I did an Fdisk and format on the new drive
and procceded to install Windows 98SE on the drive. Everything installed fine
and I was up and running. When I went to windows update and went to scan for
updates it very quickly popped up the next page saying I had the error #
0x80072F89. It's never done this any other time i've had to reformat
(including about 4 months ago). Just wondering if anyone else has run into
this problem and has any solutions, i'd like to use my new HD soon.

Download the latest version of Internet Explorer from
download.microsoft.com, then go back to windowsupdate.com and try again.

This is a real PITA, since they've changed the way it works and just give
you a meaningless error mesage - I guess they're just trying to get you to
give up and buy XP.

Everyone click "useful" so this message stays near the top - I expect a lot
of people are having this problem.

In Internet Options, click the Advanced tab, scroll down to the Security
heading. UNcheck the box next to " Check for server certificate
revocation (requires restart) ".
Click Apply, OK.
Restart the system.
Then upgrade to the latest version of IE as Tom has already posted.
