Description and Explanation of a Cabinet File

Example: expand d:\i386\Initpki.dl_ c:\Windows\system32\Initpki.dll

If you have already installed SP2 then a copy of the file may be located in
C:\windows\servicepackfiles\i386

Suggestion 1:
1. Click on Start, Run and type "REGSVR32 SOFTPUB.DLL"
(w/o the quotes). You should see a popup message that
this process succeeded.
2. Click on Start, Run and type "REGSVR32 INITPKI.DLL"
(w/o the quotes). You should see a popup message that
this process succeeded.
3. Click on Start, Run and type "REGSVR32 MSSIP32.DLL"
(w/o the quotes). You should see a popup message that
this process succeeded.
Restart your computer and try Windows update. If this
doesn't work than try this
Suggestion 2:
1. Click Start --> select Run. In the Run box, type
services.msc Click OK
2. Find the Background Intelligent Transfer Service.
Right-click on it and select Properties
3. Click on Stop and then again click on Start. In the
Startup Type list, make sure that "Automatic" is
selected. Click OK
4. Similarly find Automatic Updates service. Right-click
on it and select Properties
5. Click on Stop and then again click on Start. In the
Startup Type list, make sure that "Automatic" is
selected. Click OK
6. Close the Services window
Try Windows update.
This will fix ya issue......
Thank me
