windows update: Error 0x8DDD0004 Win2k

I am having trouble getting windows update to work. It gives me the
0x8DDD0004 error message. I am running win2k. I do have a popup blocker, but
have disabled it. I have also seen the posts for help with winxp and applied
all the changes that could apply to win2k, like adding urls to trusted sites.
Can someone please help me? Thanks in advance.

Get the latest Windows Update Engine from
http://download.windowsupdate.com/v6...gent20-x86.exe

Download and install it.
