windows update error code 8007371B

hi all,

i have this recommended update for my system, "Update for Windows Mail Junk
E-mail Filter [August 2007] (KB905866)." evry time i try to update this i get
an Error message code 8007371B.

i have search the knowledge base and cant find anything to help me install
this successfully. any help to achieve this will be highly appreciated.

Hi zingy
I have the same problem. I've searched all other forums & no-one seems to
know what to do. I have Windows Mail but its not my default, so I changed it
to default, and no it did not download.

I have a strange feeling that we may have to go thru that rigmarole of
changing registry details & folders in order to get it downloaded.

Trouble is, I've forgotten how its done. I don't need the download anyway
but there's no box in order that I can "ignore it" & it keeps popping up on
my screen "windows update" and like you, I'm sick of it.
