Windows Update Error Mesage

I get an error message 0x80072EE2, when I try to check for Windows Updates
from the Microsoft website. I am using a PC on a wireless LAN, served by a
WLAN Router/Access Point - could this be the problem ?

Thanks for the advise. I have gone through the steps outlined in your first
link below, but no success yet. I shall try your other tips in your second
link below, and hopefuly that would resolve the issue.
