Thanks for the reply. You're right. I fininally figured out the problem.
Windows Vista "auto" installs the wrong driver for the Linksys Wireless
Adapter version WMP54Gv4.1. Then when the "update" was released something
major must have been changed because my wireless card completely failed and
it was a "bit**" to get working. I had to rename the every reference to the
"device name" in the registery in order to get the correct driver to work.
Windows Vista DOES NOT uninstall hardware fully and this is a MAJOR flaw.
Everytime I tried to install the correct MFG driver, before I edited my
registery, a message would tell me a device or service name, "Linksys
Wireless Adapter", was already in use.
