Windows Update freezes at create a restore point

When I try to install the important update it freezes at create a restore
point. I never get an error code and can not even cancel the update it just
sits there. I have tried various methods of trying to fix this problem but
can not seem to fiqure out what is causing it. Can anyone please let me know
if they have had the same problem and how they fixed it.
