Windows Update in French

Hello, I was helping a friend in Belgium troubleshoot his
computer, and pulled up the Windows Update Site in French
to send him the link. Now, whenever I access the site, it
comes up in French! That's not actually a problem for me,
but I'm wondering if the updates it would install would
be incompatible with my English version of Windows XP
Pro. Any help on this, or ideas on how to get my English
updates back?
