Windows Update has hung downloading KB 885250 NEED A RESPONSE ASAP

Im at a screen that says Downloading Update 15 of 17 and its just sitting
there on this one particular update.

Why is this happening. Please dont suggest things with a firewall ,
antivirus software getting in the way as I have already checked these things.

If I disable Auto Updates in Remote services , then throw away the Software
Distribution folder in the trash , enable auto updates from services again ,
that took care of the problem.
