Windows Update has stopped working

When I click on Windows Update I get the following message:
"This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this
action. Create an association in the Set Associations control panel.".
(Using Vista 64-bit Ultimate Edition)

Problem was caused by Directory Opus 9 which is not fully compatible with
Vista 64-bit. Change setting to not let Opus replace Explorer.
