Windows Update from the Help and Support Center

A while back, I began to get this message after trying to get to the WU site
via the help and support center in XP Pro:

"Cannot display the page . The page you are trying to view cannot be
displayed because the server it resides on does not respond. Please try again
later."

This is occurring even though I am already connected to the internet. I can
get the updates if I go directly to the MS website, but not hrough the help
and support center.

I am using SP1. Have not downloaded or installed SP2.

HELP!
