Windows Update History has been Cleared

When I go into view Windows Update history in Vista Ultimate there is only
one entry. Windows Defender update of 6/7/07. Everything else is gone. There
were 3 months of update in the history. This seems to be effecting only the
history as the actual updates are on the system. Any ideas?

Delete any Windows Update-related local folders lately?

No, I thought of that also. I did get a Desktop Window Manager error at about
the same time but that should have only been a display issue with Aero.
