Windows Update of HP LaserJet 1020 drivers

Hi,

well, as I see, these problems of installing driver and seeing in update
history "failed" are frequent.
I've got same problem with windows update offered driver update for HP
LaserJet 1020 printer. It is the same problem as it with Intel PRO wireless
set 2200BG was.
I've downloaded latest driver update from www.hp.com site and installed it.
But windows update shows its own update offer.
What is the reason of such problems? How quick they can be solved?

Dear Andrius, I have had the same problem on one of my PCs for a while. I
downloaded and installed the driver which works fine. The update still came
back, though. But you could try clicking the box that hides the update. Open
the info text and you should find the box at the bottom of the text. It's a
workaround at least and you can unhide it if needed. Let´s hope that my
reply can get in a real answer to this minor annoyance for us both! /B
